Laika

Laika is the story of the first dog in space, launched by Russian scientists in 1957. We meet Laika as she becomes the first living creature to experience a launch into orbit. An intelligent creature, curious and proud, she fulfils her duty taught to her by the scientists back on earth. Laika daydreams of her life before space travel and her humble beginnings on the streets of Moscow.
